Every major market in the world has professional event access control infrastructure. Nigeria did not. We built it.

The problem with Nigerian events is not the food, the music, or the venue. It is the gate. Every event organiser in Nigeria knows the moment: you planned for 100 guests, you budgeted for 100 guests, and by the time the event is in full swing, there are 160 people in the room and you have no idea who 60 of them are.

The tools being used to manage this were not tools at all. A WhatsApp broadcast. A screenshot invite. A clipboard at the gate. A security guard making judgment calls under social pressure. These are not access control they are wishful thinking dressed up as security.

PrivePas was built to solve this problem specifically for the Nigerian context. Not an adaptation of a foreign product that barely fits. Something built from the ground up understanding how events actually work here the vendor relationships, the last-minute guest additions, the unreliable venue Wi-Fi, the reality that security staff cannot be expected to install an app 30 minutes before guests start arriving.

The result is a web-based platform where an organiser can upload a guest list, generate personalised QR-coded invitation cards, and have professional gate scanning operational from any phone, with no app in under an hour.

For professional event planners managing multiple client events, we built a subscription-based dashboard that centralises everything: scheduling, guest management, check-in monitoring, and post-event reporting across all events from one account.

The goal has never been to be a fancy invitation generator. The goal is to be the operational backbone of serious Nigerian events the infrastructure that makes the difference between a controlled, professional experience and the chaos that damages reputations and erodes client trust.
